We have made some significant developments with our Barracuda, Gopher, and SL, 40k psi tools. We will be changing to a cartridge design for each of these tools that will offer many advantages. The BC 405 Cartridge design features a complete replaceable assembly for easy field maintenance. Cartridges can be replaced as complete units or components can be replaced individually. This new system reduces down time and improves accessibility to wear items. Now operators can have a backup cartridge ready to go and installed in minutes.

During this product development process we have learned how to extend the life of the BC 411 carbide seat by increasing the wall thickness. We have proven that this development will extend the life considerably when used in 40k applications.

This cartridge design will obsolete the existing models BC-UH, SL-H9H9, and GO-UH. The new tools will be the BC-H9-C, SL-H9-C, and the GO-H9-C. We will begin shipping these new units on January 22, 2007. All kits for these tools will change at the same time. Please refer to your 2007 price list for all of the details. We will continue to stock replacement parts for the prior designs.
