A Note From Baron's Jet Tec

StoneAge receives interesting feedback from customers all around the world. Recently we received a success story from Richard Baron. Richard owns and operates Baron's Jet Tec, located in Sarasota Fl. Here are some excerpts from his letter to us:

"I am so impressed with your WARTHOG that I wanted to share some of my experiences with you.

Several years ago I purchased my first WARTHOG and around that time I was involved in a project that required cleaning kitchen stacks in a fifteen story building. At that time I worked with Scott Hardy and came up with the current design of a WARTHOG with a pulling eye. The way that we clean a building drain and stack is always from the bottom up. In a condominium situation that has a parking garage with exposed piping, we disconnect the piping right below the ceiling and run a pipe into a collection tank. We have the condominium contract their plumbing contractor to cut and remove a section of pipe at the base of the stack and then run pipe out to our collection tank outside. One of our employees is in the position on the roof pulling the jet head and hose up through the stack, (if the building is over 9 stories). If the building is under 9 stories we can get the Warthog to pull itself up. All jobs are video inspected with our “CUES” camera system and then recorded on a DVD.

I received a call this past year from a condominium on Lido Beach in Sarasota which had 4 inch cast iron kitchen stacks with a one inch opening. They have been plagued with repeat blockages. Several plumbing contractors told them their pipes could not be cleaned. They tried different jetting companies without success. The manager of the condominium gave me a section of the pipe for a sample to see how much and how hard the buildup was in the pipe (shown below). I stated that I could clean the pipe and would be happy to give them a demonstration. To their surprise and amazed expressions we buzzed right through the grease and tuberculation buildup. The board members had one question after the demonstration. “What guarantee would be given that the entire stack in their 13 story building could be cleaned?” I stated in writing that “if they could not see every joint and connection in that stack after it was cleaned then it would be no charge”. THAT is how much I believe in your product. With no further questions raised, that statement sold that first job." (Shown below is the pipe section).
